Parental Abductions

Unfortunately in this day and age where divorce and separation is common parental child abduction is a crime which is on the increase. It is estimated that over hundreds of thousands of parental abductions take place world wide every year.

  • The first thing that you must do in this situation if you believe that your spouse or partner is responsible for the abduction of your child is to contact the police.
  • Have all necessary descriptions, recent photos, and relevant facts of the circumstances of the abduction ready to give to both us and the police.
  • Contact if appropriate the abductors work, family and friends.
  • Remember that the abductor may be in hiding or they may try and leave the state or country. Therefore it is important to get working quickly with phone calls, then any possible places the abductor might have gone and start on a poster search.
  • It is handy in these cases especially if you believe the abductor may try to leave the area or country to get as many posters on, buses, train stations, tube stations, airports and sea ports as possible. All these authorities must be informed as quickly as possible . Fax as many different police departments with posters and descriptions as possible.
  • Check if the Childrens or the abductors passports are missing.
  • If the abductor or children are on medication, check to see if supplies for the medication are missing.
